The Vassar Night Owls is one of the oldest female a cappella groups in the United States. The group was founded in 1942 during a flu epidemic at Vassar College in New York. The group specializes in jazz but sings a varied repertoire. Sponsored by Ed and Lydia Kitfield, the Vassar Night Owls have generously donated their time to come and sing at the Morris Farm, at 156 Gardiner Road in Wiscasset, on Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m. There will be a cookie bar, and coffee and tea will be served. The cost is by donation.
