In December of last year, Medomak Middle School eighth-grader Kristina Rolerson was asked to take on a challenge to do any type of tribal design for her uncle’s Freightliner truck that travels around the United States. She decided to accept that challenge.
Kristina came up with two different designs and handed them to her Uncle Al. He told her that he would take a look at them and decide if that is what he wanted. If so, he would choose one to have put on his truck for everyone to see as he traveled. Kristina’s uncle did decide on one of her designs but kept it from her as to which one he chose.
On April 10, Kristina’s uncle and others showed up at Medomak Middle School in Waldoboro with the truck to share her design with all the students and teachers. Everyone is very proud of her and loves the design. The company that Kristina’s uncle works for, Prime Inc., even liked Kristina’s design.
