Update – CMP Fixing Damage From High Winds
Central Maine Power Company, a subsidiary of Iberdrola USA, will have crews working through Monday to restore power to customers who lost service when high winds blew through Maine on Sunday.

After a blustery day that saw more than 1400 power outages in Lincoln County, only 79 Lincoln County homes were still suffering from outages at 8:30 p.m. Sunday night, according to Central Maine Power (CMP).
NWS Warns of Increasingly Higher Winds on Sun.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory that warns of increasingly higher winds into Sunday afternoon. Winds are forecast to increase during Sunday afternoon to a sustained velocity of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up 50 mph. Winds of this velocity are expected to bring down trees and limbs, causing power outages and other damage.
