Lincoln Academy girls tennis team defeated Erskine Academy 5-0 on Sat., June 8 to win the State Class B championship. The win defends Lincoln’s 2018 title. Caitlin Cass defeated Ellie Hodgkin 6-3, 6-0 at first singles. Fiona Liang beat Regina Harmon 6-0, 6-2 at second singles. Emily Harris swept Paige Leary 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Sandra Thelander and Harmony Ingham teamed up to beat June Blanchard and Kaytie Millay 6-1, 6-1 at first doubles. Anastasiya Oliver and Kate Peters defeated Morgaine Kmen and Julia Barber 6-2, 7-5 at second doubles.
