The Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce announced on Friday, Feb. 10 that it is accepting nominations for its annual Chamber of Commerce awards, which will be presented at the organization’s annual meeting on Thursday, May 18 at Lincoln Academy in Newcastle.
The nomination form is available at the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce office, located at 67-A Main St. in Newcastle, and will also be available at business after-hours events. The Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations through Friday, March 31. The four award categories are: Individual Community Service Award, Organization Community Service Award, Business Enhancement Award, and the Business Person of the Year award.
“We look forward to our members and the community coming together at our annual meeting to honor individuals and business that have made a major impact on this community,” said Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce Board Chair Cindy Wade. “There are so many leaders in this community who are worthy of this annual recognition. I encourage members to take the time to fill out a nomination form.”
The Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce is looking for sponsors for its annual meeting. There are three sponsorship levels available:
- Gold Sponsor – The cost is $1,000 as a primary sponsor. Sponsorship includes: five attendees from the business and all others are $25; a large banner at the venue behind the podium; business logo on posters; listed on program and website during the year; the opportunity to speak during the formal business meeting; a large table for business materials; recognition during the business meeting; photos on Facebook and website; inclusion in press releases and Lincoln County News articles.
- Silver Sponsor – The cost is $600; four slots are available. Sponsorship includes three attendees from the business and all others are $25; logo on posters and program; a smaller banner on sidewalls at the venue; recognition during the business meeting; and a smaller table for business materials.
- Bronze Sponsor – The cost is $100 for a business expo table to showcase business.
