Dennis Hilton, president of Cheney Financial Group, hosted an exceptional awards and recognition dinner Nov. 9 at The 1812 Farm in Bristol Mills. A festive atmosphere, delicious food, and lively conversation were the backdrop for the annual celebration and recognition of outstanding service and commitment by Cheney Financial Group employees. Hilton fosters and promotes a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie among the three companies that comprise Cheney Financial Group: Newcastle Realty, Cheney Insurance and Newcastle Vacation Rentals. Hilton, along with co-host and Cheney Insurance Support Team Manager Suzanne Strachan-LaCroix, acknowledged each and every employee with high praise and gratitude.
Years of Dedicated and Loyal Service awards and gifts were given to Kate Dunstan for 5 years at Cheney Insurance, Anne Peaslee for 15 years at Newcastle Realty, Debby Schling for 10 years at Newcastle Realty, and Tanya Blodgett for 15 years at Newcastle Vacation Rentals.
Broker Lorrie Zeiner was presented an award for the highest current sales volume at Newcastle Realty. From Cheney Insurance, Holly Harris was recognized for outstanding performance in the category of email collection, and Brittany Carter for exceptional team building efforts. Holly Lemar received the President’s Award for outstanding leadership and enthusiasm.
Five names were drawn from all the attendees to receive a gift from the infamous “Wall of Cash.” The evening concluded with an animated round of trivia led by Joe Jacobs.
