Almost two weeks after Crissy’s Breakfast and Coffee Bar closed for a “staffing reorganization,” the location of the restaurant is being advertised for lease.
An ad for a fully equipped “turnkey restaurant space” available for lease appears in this edition of The Lincoln County News. The phone number listed in the advertisement belongs to Colleen Kelly, the owner of the business.
Kelly confirmed that the restaurant is available for lease, but otherwise declined to comment.
Crissy’s, at 212 Main St., was originally opened by Crissy DeOnis in 2010. Kelly, of Damariscotta, took over the restaurant in January after purchasing the building and business.
A sign on the door of the restaurant announced the restaurant’s closure Tuesday, July 26.
“Crissy’s is undergoing a staffing reorganization in effort to better serve our customers,” the sign reads. “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and we will keep you posted on our progress.”
