The Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce has hired a new executive director, Stephanie Gallagher. Her official start date was Monday, Feb. 27. Gallagher lives in Nobleboro with her husband Jack and their two children, 13-year-old Teagan and 12-year-old Aidan.
Gallagher comes to the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce with a background in customer relations, human resources, leadership, information systems, and communications. She has been active in several local organizations as a volunteer, is committed to the community, and is passionate about the work of the chamber.
“We are very excited to have hired a new executive director,” said Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce Board Chair Cindy Wade. “With roots in the community, Stephanie brings both a professional background and a passion for the region. We look forward to introducing Stephanie to the business community over the next several months, and to having her be a strong, outgoing resource to our members and the new ‘face’ of the chamber.”
