The Parent Program of Mid-Coast Maine Inc. is the new name of the Teen and Young Parent Program of Knox County Inc. The program has grown from a small group of committed volunteer mentors working with teen parents to a team of professional parent educators who offer the Maine Families program to all families who are pregnant or have a newborn living in Knox, Lincoln, and Sagadahoc counties.
Utilizing the Parents as Teachers model, the Parent Program of Mid-Coast Maine Inc. offers parenting support, research-based information, and fun activities parents can do with their babies to promote optimal development. It is committed to building strong, nurturing communities for all families.
