Tony C. McKim, president and CEO of First National Bank and its parent company, The First Bancorp, recently announced several staff promotions. “I am pleased to recognize the hard work and dedication from our staff,” said McKim.
Terri Geroux has been promoted to vice president, systems and support Officer. Geroux has been with the bank since 1982, and she has worked in a variety of positions, both as a customer-facing employee and in support departments, including human resources and training. Most recently, Geroux was the bank’s information-systems project manager.
Denise Griffin has been promoted to vice president, human-resources officer. A graduate of Bowdoin College, Griffin joined the bank’s human-resources department in 2004.
Melissa Bryant has been promoted to assistant vice president, mortgage underwriter. Bryant joined the bank’s mortgage department in 2011. Before coming to First National Bank, she worked in the housing and software industries.
McKim also announced the following promotions at First Advisors, the investment management division of First National Bank:
Matthew Weaver has been promoted to vice president, senior portfolio manager. Weaver joined First Advisors in 2000, after working for a Boston-area investment firm. In this new position, he will coordinate business development for First Advisors in the Knox County and Bangor markets, as well as continuing to service his customers.
Nazrin Dixon has been promoted to vice president, business-development officer. In her new role, Dixon will continue to be the point person for business development in the Bangor market and will also assist with business-development efforts in other areas, as well as coordinate seminars. She joined First Advisors in 2013 with the opening of the Bangor office. She has more than eight years of experience in the financial-services industry.
Lorraine Ouellette has been promoted to vice president, senior administration and compliance officer. She has been with First Advisors since 2011 and has over 30 years of experience in the financial-services industry.
