Round Pond Coffee
On Friday, June 14, Round Pond Coffee in the Bristol village of Round Pond, will celebrate its fourth year in business and will be open with full-time summer hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
The cafe first opened in summer 2016, motivated by a desire to bring a strong cup of coffee and a cafe atmosphere to the Pemaquid peninsula. Since then, by the mystical allure of its house roast, the Round Pond Blend, the cafe has grown into a focal point of the community and a vital component of the burgeoning Round Pond town center.
Round Pond Coffee has already asserted itself as a gathering place for locals and visitors to intermingle and catch up on community news. In the upcoming season, owners Jim and Teddy hope to build upon the popularity of last summer’s gazpacho and develop a selection of prepared food items that highlight fresh fruit and vegetables.
