Smitten Collectibles & Nerdy Treasures, at 2 Hodgdon St. in Damariscotta, is excited to launch its new children’s reading club, the Smitten Mage Guild.
All kids 16 years old and under are eligible to earn a $10 Smitten gift certificate for every 10 books they read. The free club started accepting members Oct. 4.
Kids are encouraged to come into the store to sign up and receive a guild membership packet explaining all the details. The membership packet includes a badge, a bookmark, and a guild card on which to log reading.
Store hours are Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
