Comfort food at Van Lloyd’s Bistro tastes great on a cold day!
Van Lloyd’s Bistro in Damariscotta will run its new Winter Comfort Menu each week from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, beginning Tuesday, Dec. 5. The new menu will contain dishes like poutine and nachos, as well as heartier items like fresh chili and cassoulet.
Along with the dinner menu will be a casual drink list containing mostly tried-and-true favorites, and a small dessert menu.
These new menus were created as a way to embrace the oncoming darkest days of the Maine winter. Bistro owner Meredith King and head chef Richard Baird have collaborated on the creation of the menus, including items that are quintessential classic comfort foods, as well as some of their personal favorites.
The full final menus will be posted to Van Lloyd’s Facebook page as well as the new website, vanlloyds.com, on the morning of Dec. 5.
Van Lloyd’s Bistro is located at 85 Parking Lot Lane in Damariscotta.
