One can learn the basics of government contracting for small businesses when Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center Procurement Counselor Bryan Wallace speaks at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15 at the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission, 297 Bath Road, Wiscasset. He will explain what it takes to sell to the federal government.
Business owners looking to sell their products/services to the government will learn how to register, how to research what the government has bought and paid in the past, how to see what the government is currently buying, and much more.
The free workshop is a great introduction and perfect setting to determine if government contracting is worthwhile and a good fit for one. Wallace is one of five Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center counselors covering the state. He holds regular monthly hours at the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission in Wiscasset, where he counsels and advises local businesses.
