Texas Woman Arrested Following Wiscasset Accident
A Texas woman was arrested following an accident on Gardiner Road in Wiscasset the afternoon of Sept. 5 that sent four individuals to the hospital. Barbara Masterson, 62, of Bulverde, Texas was arrested for operating under the influence, a class D misdemeanor, Sept. 5 and held at Two Bridges Regional Jail after she was treated for injuries at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus.

Westport Island resident and Squire Tarbox Inn proprietor Mario De Pietro was among 36,000 new American citizens who took their oath of citizenship Thursday, Sept. 17, the day this country observes Citizenship Day as part of Constitution Week, which observes the signing of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. Lincoln County and CEI End Contract
