In polling results June 9 Dresden voters elected Dale Hinote to the first selectmen’s seat on the board of selectmen, narrowly favoring Hinote over two-term incumbent Phil Johnston, 61-56.
Wiscasset Accident Results in Injuries, Traffic Jam
A head-on collision between a motor home and a pickup truck sent three people to the hospital and slowed traffic on Route 1 in Wiscasset early Thursday afternoon, June 25.
Rockport Man Takes Plea Deal in Bremen Aggravated Assault Case
In cases originating out of both Lincoln and Knox counties, a Rockport man pleaded guilty April 23 to charges of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, assault, and others as part of a deferred disposition agreement while other charges, including aggravated assault, were dismissed.
