In less than 20 minutes at the Wiscasset Planning Board meeting Monday, Nov. 10, over a year of preparation by Frank “Bud” Gallagher came to fruition. Floatworks Inc., currently based in Westport Island, will be moving to 654 Bath Rd. in Wiscasset.

Despite the economic downturn in recent years, Vern Brewer and Jack Harworth, co-owners of NAPA Auto Parts in Wiscasset, are expanding their operations. The partners will be moving from their current location in Wiscasset at 179 Bath Rd. to a larger retail space right down the street in mid November.
