Despite the economic downturn in recent years, Vern Brewer and Jack Harworth, co-owners of NAPA Auto Parts in Wiscasset, are expanding their operations. The partners will be moving from their current location in Wiscasset at 179 Bath Rd. to a larger retail space right down the street in mid November.
CMP: Full Power Restoration by Sat. Night
Central Maine Power has announced that all Lincoln County households still without power should have their service restored by Saturday night, according to a bulletin issued by the company at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Damariscotta Woman Will Serve No Jail Time in Plea Deal on Multiple Charges
Five felonies out of 11 total charges, including burglary and various drug charges, against a Damariscotta woman were dismissed in a plea deal in October, and though the woman will serve no additional jail time, a substantial suspended sentence hangs over her head.

Some Lincoln County Families May Spend Thanksgiving Without Power
It remains to be seen how many Lincoln County families will be without electrical power on Thanksgiving Day. In the early morning hours of Thanksgiving, a total of 9505 Lincoln County outages were reported by Central Maine Power. At the time of this posting, CMP had no estimate on how many of those customers will have power restored for Thanksgiving Day.
Coming Storm Could Affect Thanksgiving Travel
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch well in advance of a weather system forecast to chug through Lincoln County on the heaviest travel day of the year – Wednesday, Nov. 26 – the day before Thanksgiving.
