An electrical short in a lamp is cited as the cause of a fire at 122 Foye Rd. in Wiscasset Oct. 14. Wiscasset Fire Chief T.J. Merry reported the fire was out by the time his department arrived on the scene. According to Merry, the house was full of residual smoke.
