Small Storm May Bring Short Period of Heavy Snowfall Mon. Afternoon
The National Weather Service has issued a bulletin warning of the possibility of heavy snowfall in Lincoln County during the afternoon hours on Monday. The small storm system includes snow bands capable of dropping snow at 1 to 2 inches per hour, according to the NWS.
Dump Truck Driver Treated and Released After Accident
The driver of a dump truck that went off the side of Route 1 in Edgecomb on the morning of Jan. 30 was treated for his injuries and released, according to Scott Shott, a spokesman for Miles Memorial Hospital.

Power Should be Restored Tonight; New Weather Advisory Issued
Power should be restored to all Lincoln County households by Saturday evening, according to Central Maine Power. Some 652 homes in Lincoln County were affected by the outages, and that number was down to 32 at 5 p.m., according to CMP. The majority of those outages were in the Boothbay Harbor area, according to CMP. The Blizzard Warning that had been issued by the National Weather Service has been withdrawn and replaced by a Special Weather Statement advising motorists to beware of reduced visibility and slick roads due to blowing snow.
