Judge Amends Priest’s Bail Conditions

NWS Issues High Wind Warning for Friday Afternoon
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a High Wind Warning for Lincoln County beginning Friday afternoon and continuing through the evening hours. Wind gusts from the southeast are forecast to reach the 60 mph mark. Sustained winds are forecast at 25 to 35 mph, according to the NWS. Rainfall is also in the forecast, with the possibility of precipitation beginning in the morning hours and increasing through the day and into the evening, according to the NWS. Some of the precipitation may arrive as sleet, especially in the morning hours, according to the NWS.

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On Nov. 27, Deputy Justin Drake took a report of criminal mischief to a business in the Edgecomb area. The complainant stated that when they were opening their store they could smell the odor of propane. After contacting their fuel supplier and having their tanks inspected, it appeared that someone(s) had tampered with the tanks, which resulted in a fuel leak. Investigation to continue as new leads develop.
