A Lincoln County grand jury indicted Joshua B. Seiders, 31, of Damariscotta, May 16 on a felony theft charge in connection with the theft of more than $10,000 from Osier’s Wharf in South Bristol.
Nobleboro Teachers Sign Two-Year Contract
Teachers at the Nobleboro Central School have agreed to a contract with AOS 93. At the May 14 meeting of the NCS School Board, union representatives Paula Schuster and Ken Williams joined members of the Nobleboro School Board in signing an agreement that will be in effect from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31, 2014.

A secret ballot election held the previous day, passed three warrant articles and filled six positions, including those of selectman and overseer of the poor, school committee superintendent, and trustees for the Rocky Channels School System and cemetery, sewer and water districts.

A Belfast restaurateur wants to build a Chinese restaurant in a vacant lot, formerly home to Maine Way Ice Cream, at 422 Main St. in Damariscotta.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report
Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On April 24, Deputy Brian Collamore was dispatched to a report of theft in the Nobleboro area. The complainant stated that two galvanized steel dock ladders were taken from her summer residence. They were last seen in the fall and were valued at approximately $500. Further investigation to follow if leads come forth.
