Repairs Near Completion At Jefferson School
Jefferson Code Enforcement Officer Stanley Waltz said May 11 that work on the Jefferson Village School, to repair problems that developed or became apparent after a fire sprinkler line burst Jan. 17, has been mostly completed.
RSU 12 Board Concerned Over Test Results
Several members of the RSU 12 Board of Directors expressed concern at a report showing that 70 percent of the 6th grade in the RSU did not meet standards at their grade level in writing.
Stolen Tractor Still Missing
State Police have released a new photo of a $40,000 tractor stolen from Union Farm Equipment on Rt. 17 in Union on March 19. The surveillance photo from a nearby gasoline station shows the tractor on the back of a red ramp truck along Rt. 17, as it passed the station.

Missing Fostered Dog

He’s being fostered for Tall Tail Beagle Rescue and has gotten away. Sadly, he was an abused dog, and is very frightened of people, but likes animals.
