James A. Gilbert of Newcastle and Suzanne M. Gilbert of Newcastle were granted a divorce on Aug. 9. They were married in Bristol on Nov. 15, 1986. Shared parental rights of one minor child.

After a night-long search of the dark ocean waters off Lincoln County proved unsuccessful, the United States Coast Guard (USCG) is still actively searching for a man swept into the sea from the rocky shoreline of Monhegan Island Friday afternoon, according to USCG spokesman Chief Rob Childress.
Alna Road Repairs To Begin Sept. 12th
Major road repairs on several Alna roads will begin Sept. 12 and last through Sept. 21. Construction will be done from 7 am to 6 pm. Lothrop, Bailey, Rabbit Path, Dock and Golden Ridge Rd. will be affected by the repairs.
