Structure Fire in Damariscotta Mills
The Nobleoboro Fire Department and several mutual aid departments battled a structure fire at Russ and Diana Williams home in Damariscotta Mills. The upstairs of the home was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene at about 8:45 p.m. Fri., March 18.

Don’t let the break in rainfall and the early withdrawal of a Winter Weather Advisory by the National Weather Service (NWS) on Monday lull you into complacency, warns the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency (LCEMA) – there’s still more dangerous weather on the way for Monday evening. “It looks like at least another two inches” of snow or sleet are due to arrive in Lincoln County Monday evening at about 5 p.m. when temps slide below freezing, according to LCEMA Deputy Director Kimberly White-Kaiser. “We’re also concerned with existing ponding on roads and areas of black ice freezing over – it’s really going to be a skating rink tonight.”
