During that period total snowfall accumulation is expected to range in the 14 to 20 inch area, snowfall rates may reach the rate of 2 to 3 inches per hour, and whiteout conditions are a possibility, according to the NWS.

A new bill sponsored by District 61 Rep. Bruce MacDonald, D-Boothbay, would permanently exempt Maine’s commercial fishing vessels from having to pay the sales tax on fuel.
