Dec. 30, 2009, Richard A. Malady, 25, of Boothbay was issued a summons for assault, on Back Narrows Rd., Boothbay, by Deputy Todd Chilton.

Wiscasset selectmen approved the appointment of former Brunswick Town Manager Don Gerrish during their Jan. 19 board meeting to act as interim town manager for Wiscasset.

A two year child died early Monday morning after being struck by a car in Bremen. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene on Nobleboro Rd. around 7:34 a.m. The child was transported by ambulance to Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta where the child later died, according to the LCSO.
