Guided Hike at Salt Bay Farm with Coastal Rivers

Gingerbread House-Building Class Nov. 15
For nearly two decades Boothbay Harbor’s historic opera house has been transformed each December with a display of dozens of gingerbread houses and castles, cabins and camps, and more. The exhibit of gingerbread creations is the result of novices as well as seasoned professionals designing and creating original gingerbread structures for the annual Gingerbread Spectacular.

Prescription Drug Disposal Day Cancelled
Due to the tragic events in Lewiston, and the ongoing Law Enforcement response, Maine CDC has cancelled National Prescription Drug Take Back Day for all Maine locations. The nation-wide event, sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Agency, was set for Saturday, Oct. 28. No reschedule date has been set, but the next National Take Back Day will be held as usual in April.
Cornhole Tournament to Support Maine Veterans Nov. 4
Students from Lincoln Academy’s EdLab (Alternative Education) Program and Unified Club, which involves student athletes with and without disabilities, are collaborating to host a cornhole tournament to benefit Maine veterans from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4.
