Marjorie Lorraine Herald West, 88, passed away peacefully on the morning of Feb. 9 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta, with her daughter Terry and niece Holly Spinney at her side.

Eftemia “Effie” Kesasris Wallace passed away peacefully Feb. 13 surrounded by family and friends.

Frank Oliver Avantaggio Jr. M.D. passed away on Feb. 8 in Damariscotta surrounded by his family.

Sarah Davison-Jenkins, passed away on Jan. 9 after a short illness. Sarah owned and ran The Tipsy Butler bed & breakfast in Newcastle for eight years, where she lived with her husband, Tony.

Dorothy Mae (Hemingway) Christ, 73, passed away Jan. 21.

Jean Carolyn Blake McVicker, 81, passed away on Nov. 17, 2014, in the Gregory Wing at St. Andrews Village, where she spent her last years.
