Peter Humphrey Martin, 67, of Amston, Conn., passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Oct. 16, with his beloved wife and best friend, Pat by his side.

Charlotte F. Sutter, 96, of Woolwich, died Sept. 30 at Winship Green Nursing Center in Bath.

John Nelson, of Westport Island, passed away at his home on the morning of Oct. 28, with his loving wife, Ruth Nelson, by his side.

Barbara Ann Johnson, 83, of Nobleboro, died on Oct. 13 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick.

John Joseph Kindred III, passed away on Sept. 19 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Karen L. Sewall, 65, of Nobleboro, passed away at her home on the morning of Oct. 23 with her husband, Robert Sewall, by her side. She was born in Blue Hill on Aug. 14, 1949.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Sat., Oct. 25 at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Sun., Oct. 26 at the Lincoln County Assembly of God, 672 Main St., Damariscotta.

Tom Salazar passed away from this earth…quietly… on the evening of Oct. 6 at Togus Veteran’s Hospital in Augusta, with friends and family nearby, after several years of declining health, though with a spirit that remained strong to his last moments with us.

Jennie Adeline “Jane” Hutchins, 85, passed away at Safe Havens in Boothbay Harbor on Oct. 26.

Eunice M. Adams passed away on Oct. 26 at the Charles County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Laplata, Md.

A memorial service for Sally B. Cougle, of Newcastle, who passed away at her home on Oct. 3, will be held at 11 a.m., Fri., Oct. 24 at the Damariscotta Methodist Church on Church Street.

Dr. Theodore Robert Fairbank Wright, 86, died in Charlottesville, Va., on Oct. 15.

Paula Goddard, of Waldoboro, went home to her beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Oct. 25 after a long life faithful to Him.

Carmen Dorf, 91, passed away at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta on Oct. 12, attended by her friends John Mulcahy and Andrew Fenniman and the compassionate caregivers of Cove’s Edge.

Earl Bassett, 53, of Wiscasset, passed away peacefully at his home on Oct. 17 with his loving family by his side.
