Herbert H. Bartlett, of Bremen, died unexpectedly on Nov. 23 in Reston, Va.

Ned Freeman died on Oct. 30 from a head injury sustained during a fall the day before. He was born on Feb. 20, 1923, in Riverdale, N.Y., the son of Dorothy Perkins Freeman and Edward W. Freeman.

Marilyn Elinor Petrie Jones, 85, of Wiscasset, died Nov. 20 after a long illness at the St. Andrews Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor, surrounded by her loving family.

Norman C. Chase, 95, passed away on the evening of Nov. 3 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Nancy M. Moffatt, 80, of Newcastle, passed away at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockland on Nov. 12.

Constance “Connie” Curley, 91, passed away on Nov. 4 at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta.

Winton “Winty” O’Brien Jacobs, 81, of Damariscotta, passed away on the morning of Nov. 10.

Fritz Johannes Laustsen, 91, of Waldoboro, died Nov. 20 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Shirley A. Colson (Simmons), 55, died peacefully Oct. 27 at Maine Medical Center in Portland of many ongoing health complications.

Marjorie Blanche (Turner) Ludwig, 89, formerly of Washington, died Nov. 10 at Westgate Manor in Bangor.

Marcelo Rugini, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 16.

Lillian F. Anderson, 84, of Warren, died peacefully Nov. 3 at Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland.

James E. Ferrier, 92, of Damariscotta, passed away Nov. 7 at his home after a brief illness with his loving wife, Eleanor, by his side.

Elizabeth “Betsy” M. (Mitchell) Simmonds, 89, of Whitinsville, Mass., formerly of Friendship and Rockland, passed away on Nov. 12 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after an illness.
