John “Jack” L. Maritato, 89, the beloved husband of Helen L. Maritato (formerly Neumann) for over 58 years, and resident of Waldoboro for more than 33 years, died Oct. 30 after a long illness.

John “Jake” David Dow II, 53, passed away Nov. 26 at his home in Cody, Wyo.

Merrye Virginia Leavitt, 75, of Wiscasset, died Nov. 3 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Margaret Taylor Bond, of Jefferson, who participated in numerous musical and theatrical performances in the mid-coast area died on Nov. 26 at Harbor View Cottage at the Lincoln Home in Newcastle.

Iva J. Lewis, 94, of New Harbor, passed away at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta on the evening of Nov. 13.

Nancy J. Jones, 96, of Damariscotta, passed away on the evening of Oct. 3 at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta.

Parker C. Carey, 88, of Damariscotta, passed away on the morning of Nov. 23 in Damariscotta.

Virginia “Ginny” Joan Knight, 85, passed away Nov. 12 at her home with her daughters after a long battle with cancer.

Avis Lucille Barter, a longtime resident of Barters Island, passed away Nov. 3, a week after celebrating her 99th birthday, at her residence at the Gregory Wing, after a period of failing health.

Diane Hilton O’Connor, 70, of Bremen, passed away at home on Nov. 24 after a short battle with cancer.

Erland O. Johnston, 91, a resident of Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta for the past six years, passed away on Nov. 19.

Carl Augustus DePalma, 62, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully at his home on Nov. 9.

Aden Bennett Henderson Furmanik, 62, died Nov. 22 at Brentwood Manor in Yarmouth after a long period of failing health.

Harry T. Patten, 71, of Dresden, died at his home Nov. 19 following a long illness.
