Donald Richard Carver (Doc) was “called home by the Lord” while vacationing with family on Cape Hatteras, N.C. on July 8.

Albert V. “Ben” Bensen, 94, of Damariscotta, died Aug. 27 after a short stay at Miles Memorial Hospital.

Patricia Anne Devine, 80, of Boothbay, died at St. Andrews Hospital on Aug. 18 after a long struggle with cancer.

Peter Alexander, 83, of Friendship, died peacefully at his home on Aug. 1.

Lorraine P. Fossett, 81, of Bristol, passed away at her home with her family by her side, on the evening of Aug. 26.

Neil Oliver Overlock, 76, of Warren, died Aug. 11 in the comfort of his home, following a long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.

Jonathan P. Grindal, 65, of Harrisville, Penn., died July 28, surrounded by his loving family, at SUNY Upstate NY Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y., where he had been a patient since July 18.

Anita Constance Sandberg was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts, on November 30, 1921.

Gary Alan Brackett, 50, passed away on Aug. 10 surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Mary Ogden Hemingway, 92, of Dallas, Tex., formerly of Bremen, passed away on June 15 at her residence.

Rodney H. Winslow, 61, of Portland, died Aug. 10 at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Residence in Portland after a long illness.
