Vera Fish, 93, a resident of Hodgdon Green in Damariscotta and longtime resident of Newcastle, died May 4 at her residence, after a period of failing health, with her family at her side.

James (Jim) Paul Manning, 76, died on April 11 at the Anne Arundel County Medical Center in Annapolis, Md., after suffering a sudden stroke at his Annapolis home on April 8.

Kathleen F. Schoonmaker, 83, of Pemaquid, passed away April 30 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick after a brief illness, with family by her side.

Alice “Kinsy” Symonds, 84, of Jefferson, ended her short battle with cancer on May 3.

Rose D. Pitcher, 81, of Boothbay Harbor, died May 18 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Graveside service for Ernestine M. Taylor, 82, of Chelsea, who passed away March 15, 11:30 a.m., Fri., May 7 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Windsor.

Jere L. Coosard, 85, long time resident of East Boothbay, passed away March 25.

Graveside service for Irene C. Taylor, 86, of Newcastle, who passed away at her home on the evening of Jan. 19, 1 p.m., Tues., April 27 at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Dr., Augusta.

Patricia “Pat” Genthner, 66, of Waldoboro, died at Miles Memorial Hospital with her family by her side, due to the illness of cancer, on March 28.

Shari Leeman Randall, 51, of Liberty, surrounded by her many loving family members and lifelong friends from high school, and Beal College, and her coworkers, lost her four year courageous battle with breast cancer on April 2 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Alexander Bernard Stetz, 25, of Westport Island, died April 14 at his residence.

He was born in Dothan, Ala. on July 18, 1984, the son of Bernard D. and Susan P. (Worrell) Stetz.
