Hartley Frank Jewett, 87, of Rutherfordton, N.C. went home to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on Jan. 2.

Robert Huson, 81, of Jefferson, died Jan. 7 at the Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland.

Alex J. Potvin, of Augusta, formerly from Waterville, passed away Jan. 6, at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Augusta surrounded by his family.

Henry F. West, 82, of Wiscasset, died Jan. 2 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Richard M. Genthner, a lifetime resident of Waldoboro, and well respected oil dealer in town, died Jan. 26 at his residence after a long period of failing health surrounded by his family.

Cecil E. Prior, 94, of Loud’s Island, died Jan. 14 at the Edgecomb Green.

Nancy Joy Fergusson, 60, of Whitefield, died Jan. 7 at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta after a 6-month battle with cancer.

Marilyn J. (Fogg) Tedesco, 78, of Portland, wife of Theodore M. Tedesco, passed away peacefully Dec. 28, after a long illness, surrounded by family at her son’s Ipswich, Mass. home.

Suzanne Greenleaf Reed, 73, of Boothbay Harbor, died Jan. 28 at her residence after a period of failing health.

Maurice E. Woodard, 98, a resident most recently of Jefferson, died Jan. 17 at the Country Manor after a long illness.

Arlyn (Terry) Bull Sterling died peacefully on Jan. 5 at St. Andrews Village, where she had lived since 2000.

Paul Allen Grover, 71, of Wiscasset, died Dec. 30 after a brief stay at Bodwell Health Center in Brunswick after a brave battle with cancer.
