Jane Wheeler Cowley, 78, of Boothbay Harbor, died Dec. 31 at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor after a brief illness.

Thomas Ferdinand Bournival, of Thomaston, passed away Jan. 24 at the Portland Medical Center after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage.

Carolyn Ann (Svoboda) Glenn, 63, of Thomaston, passed away at home Jan. 9 after a long battle with cancer.

Vernon F. Lewis, 84, of Trevett, died Jan. 9 at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor.

Gordon S. “Doc” Young Sr., 95, of Bar Harbor, died Jan. 24 at a Bar Harbor Healthcare facility.

Pranas Lapé, for many years a resident of Chamberlain, painter, illustrator, teacher, fisherman, cook, and conversationalist, died in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Jan. 13.

Jeanette E. Hatch, 67, of Northport, died Jan. 5 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor surrounded by her loving family after a period of failing health.

John F. Robinson, 59, of Cushing, died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Jan. 14 after a long battle with cancer.

Fred E. Wiley, 93, of Monhegan Island and Brunswick, died peacefully on Jan. 3 at Amenity Manor, Topsham, in the arms of his wife, Faryl.
