Phyllis C. Heald, 85, of Hope, died Oct. 20 at her home. Born in Camden on June 9, 1924, she was the daughter of Ernest S. and Ethel A. (Holbrook) Carleton.

Lt. Col. Francis Winn Doherty, USAF, ret., 88, formerly of The Inn at Robbins Brook, Acton, Mass., and his family home at Granite Point, Biddeford, died Aug. 30 at the St. Andre Health Care Facility in Biddeford.

Kenneth Soucy, 43, died unexpectedly on Sept. 6 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta after a drowning accident.
