Edna M. Zeltner, 94, of Damariscotta and long-time resident of Greenwich, Conn. passed away peacefully on June 1 at home.

Phillip C. Willey, 83, of Wiscasset, died June 18 at a local hospital.

Graveside service for Glenn Thomas Whitten, who died Nov. 13, 2003, and Nettie M. Egger Whitten, who died March 24, 11 a.m., Sat., June 27 at Bethlehem Cemetery in Damariscotta.

Dr. Modhaffer Khalaf Al-Chokhachy, of Plymouth, Mass. and Newcastle, died on June 1 after a long illness at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth.

Jesse William Markham, 93, of Friendship, and Longboat Key, Fla., a lifelong professor, died peacefully on Father’s Day, June 21.

Harold W. Lockhart, 89, of South Bristol, died peacefully at Miles Memorial Hospital on June 9. His children were with him.

Frances F. Bennett, 92, of Edgecomb, passed away on May 31 at Amenity Manor in Topsham.

Afton Holmes Farrin, Jr. “Junior”, 93, of So. Bristol, died peacefully in his home June 20.

Alvina Mae Taylor, 94, a lifetime resident of Southport, died June 9 at the Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor after a long period of failing health.

Graveside service for Alberta Rowe, of Boothbay Harbor, who passed away on Feb. 19, 11 a.m., Sat., June 13 at Evergreen Cemetery in Boothbay. Al Roberts will officiate.

Margaret Eloise Plumley, affectionately known by all who loved her as “Plum”, 84, of Bristol, died June 12 at the Maine Veteran’s Home in Machias.

Harold Kenneth Benner, 66, of Waldoboro, died suddenly as a result of an automobile accident on June 4.

Mildred A. Reed, 101, of Friendship, passed away May 31 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
