David William Dixon, 61, of Whitefield, passed away May 15 at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta after complications involved with his heroic battle against pancreatic cancer.

Charles Stephen (Steve) Hodgdon, Sr., 81, of Hodgdon’s Island, passed away peacefully May 23 at his home with his wife of 57 years by his side.

Committal service for Donald E. Simmons, Sr., of Cushing, who passed away on Feb. 10, will be held 2 p.m., Sat., May 23 at the Sweetland Cemetery in Waldoboro.
