Richard Else, 95, of Damariscotta, passed away at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Home on Jan 24.

John F. Robinson, 59, of Cushing, died peacefully in his sleep at his home on Jan. 14 after a long battle with cancer.

Fred E. Wiley, 93, of Monhegan Island and Brunswick, died peacefully on Jan. 3 at Amenity Manor, Topsham, in the arms of his wife, Faryl.

Frank B. Taplin, 55, of Pemaquid, passed away at his home on Jan. 25.

Robert A. Sylvester, 76, passed away unexpectedly at the Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta on Jan. 15.

Tyler Nelson Wiley, 23, of Wiscasset, died Jan. 5.

Gary Alan Savage, 53, of Windsor, Conn., and Wiscasset, died at his home in Wiscasset on Jan. 23.

Timothy Edward York, 45, died doing what he loved best, Jan. 14.

Cassidy Emma Poland, 2, of Bremen, died Jan. 4 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. Cassidy was born Nov. 5, 2007 in Damariscotta, a daughter of Bobbie and Tracy Lucas Poland.

Irene C. Taylor, 86, of Newcastle, passed away at her home Jan. 19.

Mrs. Violet Bryant Morse, 90, a resident of Cove’s Edge, Damariscotta passed away on Jan. 15.

Andrew Allen Grover, 39, of Minco, Okla., formerly of Newcastle, passed away Dec. 25 in Union City, Okla.

Celebration of life for Bertha Wright Paquett, of Edgecomb, who passed away on Dec. 9, 2009, 11 a.m., Sat., Jan. 30 at the Damariscotta Methodist Church on Church Street in Damariscotta. Interment will be in the spring at the Highland Cemetery in Edgecomb.

Zilpha Clark Curtin of Pemaquid Point, New Harbor, died on the evening of Jan. 13.
