Roy Henry Light, 87, of Thomaston, passed away Sept. 27 at the Knox Center in Rockland. He was born Jan. 9, 1921 in Nobleboro.

Andrew Janover, 63, of Damariscotta, died peacefully Oct. 23 at home surrounded by those who loved him. Having survived thyroid cancer and three melanomas, he accepted death with dignity after 24 well-lived months of treatment for lung cancer.

Arnold B. Chase, 69, of Sangerville and Newcastle, husband of Dyann Robinson Chase died Oct. 10 at EMMC of Bangor.

Allen L. Hersom, 79, of Wiscasset, died Sept. 27 at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick. He was born in Gardiner on Aug. 20, 1929.

Jean S. Harrington, 79, of Bristol, a lifelong educator, went home to be with the Lord on the evening of Oct. 25 at Cove’s Edge, Damariscotta, surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.

Edward “Eddie” Arthur Ashton, 70, of Wiscasset, died unexpectedly Oct. 11 at a Damariscotta hospital.

Robert Allen Giles, 66, of Edgecomb, died on Sept. 24 at St. Andrews Hospital in Boothbay Harbor. Robert was born in Boothbay Harbor on March 12, 1942

Kathryn B. Hagan, 98, formerly of Bath, died Oct. 24 at Amenity Manor in Topsham.

She was born in Berwick on March 1, 1910, a daughter of Garrett J. and Alice L. (Blair) Galvin.

Margaret Crossman Pingree, 91, of Topsham, formerly of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and Alna, died Oct. 9.

Joseph Fiore, 83, died peacefully at home in New York City on Sept. 18. He was born on Feb. 3, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio

Loren Francis St. Cyr, 20, of Jefferson, passed away Sept. 21 from injuries sustained in an accident.

Sanford Kingsbury Seiders, Jr., 82, of North Windham, passed away early on the morning of Sept. 18 at Seaside Nursing Home, Portland. Born March 31, 1926, the youngest of 17 children all born at home, in South Bristol, he was the son of Sanford Kings

Kenneth “KC” Clayton Carter, 16, of Waldoboro, died Sept. 19 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident, Sept. 18.

Joseph Fiore, 83, died peacefully at home in New York City on Sept. 18. He was born on Feb. 3, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio where he grew up and attended public schools. Immediately after graduation from high school he was drafted into the army WWII.
