Lt. Col. Francis Winn Doherty, USAF, ret., 88, formerly of The Inn at Robbins Brook, Acton, Mass., and his family home at Granite Point, Biddeford, died Aug. 30 at the St. Andre Health Care Facility in Biddeford.

Mary “Edith” Staley, 95, of Waldoboro, died peacefully Sept. 22 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Kenneth Soucy, 43, died unexpectedly on Sept. 6 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta after a drowning accident.

Gail E. Smith, 66, of Wiscasset, passed away on Sept. 6 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland after a courageous battle with cancer.

Robert C. Andrews, Sr., 73, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Durham, passed away Sept. 8 due to a brief illness.

Carroll F. Warren, Sr., 71, of Waldo, died Aug. 21 at Togus VA Medical Center after a long illness.

Priscilla S. “Peggy” Hornberger, 86, of Bremen, passed away at the Maine Medical Center in Portland on the afternoon of Sept. 4.

Stuart M. Hughes, 88, of Westport Island, passed away at his home on Sept. 19.

Maggie Rogers, 85, of Wiscasset, passed away peacefully at the Cove’s Edge nursing home in Damariscotta on Aug. 26.

Debra J. Arsenault, 48, of Jefferson, passed away Sept. 5 at MaineGeneral Medical Center following a long illness.

Ada Gertrude (Beecher) Fehrs, 90, of Wolcott, Conn. and also of Jefferson, died Sept. 19 at her home in Wolcott.
