Wayne Addison McFarland, 70, passed away on May 9, 2023 at the Sussman House in Rockport, with his loving family by his side.

Daniel George Strawser Sr., of Newcastle, was born at noon on Aug. 7, 1943, in Robesonia, Pa., just in time for lunch, his mom used to say.

Janice L. (Curtis) Nelson- Kroesser, 70, of Washington, passed away on May 14, 2023. She is the daughter of James and Anita (Ames) Curtis.

Robert Louis Doe, 74, went to be with our lord on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Togus Springs hospice unit of the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta, after his battle with cancer.

Maynard “Maynie” A. Prock, 82, of Waldoboro, passed away on the morning of May 5, 2023, after battling a series of health issues for several years.

Susan Williamson’s spirit left this earth on April 20, after more than a three-year increasingly difficult battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a very debilitating Parkinson’s like disease. She is survived by her husband, Bill; brother, Chip, of Laurel, Md.; son, Tad, of Merrimack, Mass.; son, Tobey, of Rockland; and four grandchildren whom she adored. We all miss her terribly.

Michael Paul Bradstreet, 46, passed away in Warren on May 11, 2023. Born on Feb. 25, 1977, in Belfast, he was the beloved son of Elizabeth Winchenbach and Fred Ryan.

Frederick D. Walker, 84, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away on April 19, 2023. He was born on Oct. 16, 1938 in Dover, N.H., to parents Frederick C. Walker and Ruth (Witham) Walker.

Betty Sawyer, 91, passed peacefully at home in Wiscasset on May 8, 2023. Born in Skowhegan, Betty lived most of her life in Mechanic Falls. There she made life-long friendships and met the love of her life in Norman Sawyer. They married in 1951 and soon welcomed their children, David and Crystal. Her mother-in-law, Violet, inspired Betty’s life-long love of reading, which was later supported by the librarians at the Wiscasset Public Library.

Simon V. Keochakian died on April 7, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. after battling cancer. He was 87 years old. He was preceded in death by Joan, his beloved wife of 64 years, in 2021.

Marilyn Welsh Andrews, 94, passed away at LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus on May 6, 2023. Marilyn was born on Sept. 4, 1928, in Summit, N.J. to Ralph B. Welsh and Lenora Titman Welsh.
