Eugene F. Peabody, 81, of Warren, died Feb. 10 at his home.

He was born Nov. 15, 1926, a son of Lealand and Blanche Fullerton Peabody. He grew up in Warren and attended local schools.

Clayton E. Hallowell, 56, of Jefferson, died unexpectedly Feb. 2 at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta.

He was born in Jefferson, July 27, 1951, the son of Elwin Hallowell and Nettie (Marshall) Hallowell.

Clayton served honorably in the U.S.

Betty Ann Koehling, 70, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 25 at her residence.

She was born in Camden, June 12, 1937, a daughter of Walker A. and Sylvia M. (Genthner) McLeod.

She graduated from Wiscasset Academy in 1955 and attended nursing school.

She grew up in South Bristol and attended Lincoln Academy, graduating in 1984.

After graduation she spent time in Alaska and Montana before settling in Florida.

Robert T. Ashby, 85, of Alna, died Feb. 2 at the Veterans Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was born in Pembroke, Oct. 30, 1922, the fifth of eight children born to Harry and Annie (Woodcock) Ashby.
