Walter “Whitey” White, 82, of Jefferson, died Aug. 28 at Maine General Hospital in Augusta after a brief illness.
Whitey was born Feb. 25, 1924 in Willimantic, the son of Walter and Gladys Patterson White, and attended Waldoboro schools.
