Who doesn’t like breasts?

Seriously? Do you know anybody who has ever said anything like “I do not like looking, seeing, or thinking about breasts.”

As a parent involved in building the new Great Salt Bay School playground, I helped organize Playground Planning Day Sept. 28.

Lincoln County Communications and 911, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the Maine Warden Service, the Maine State Police, Bristol Fire and Rescue and CLC Ambulance all teamed up to care for Gil and get him to help.

Republican candidate Mitt Romney’s week started badly Sunday when a blistering review of the inner workings of his campaign was posted on the website Politico.com.

I’m sure that all gardeners and lovers of flowers- and surely there’s no one who doesn’t belong to at least one of those groups- are as sad as I am to see the “For Sale” sign in front of Cottage Gardens.

Our volunteer firefighters and EMS personnel are inadequately protected by the Maine Workmen’s Compensation (WC) law. The State allows the Maine Municipal Association (MMA) , the State’s largest WC carrier for our volunteers, to exclude coverage when responding to an emergency until they reach a main road.

An article recently published in another newspaper within the last couple of weeks tells of a bridge design that will devastate the character of an otherwise beautiful New England town. We are once again talking about the South Bristol swing bridge.

Barrack Obama, you spend too much. We cannot afford a president that spends like you do.

Your presence at the next selectman’s meeting at Great Salt Bay on Sept. 26 at 6:30 is greatly needed.
