As of Wednesday, December 13, 2017, nomination papers are available at the Town Clerk’s Office for the following positions which will be vacated at the conclusion of the Annual March Town Meeting. That meeting will be held on March 23 and 24, 2018.

The Town of Wiscasset is seeking On-Call Seasonal Part-Time Class B Drivers within the Public Works Department to operate light and moderately heavy trucks and motorized equipment in snow and ice removal operations of the Public Works Department.

The Town of Damariscotta is selling a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab 4×4 hemi with 99k. The truck was used as a patrol vehicle for the police department.

Maine Oyster, Inc. has applied for a limited-purpose (experimental) aquaculture lease to grow American/Eastern oysters using bottom culture techniques on a 1.55-acre site located east of Lehman Island, Upper Sheepscot River, Newcastle, Maine. This lease would replace current standard lease SHE LE2. Other compatible uses of the area would be permitted. The application is posted on the DMR website at www.maine.gov/dmr/aquaculture, under “Pending Aquaculture Lease Applications.”
