The Commissioner is considering an application to renew for ten years to August 27, 2026 a 15.15 – acre lease, DAM EL3, located east of Little Point, Damariscotta River, Newcastle, held by Mook Sea Farms, Inc. for the purposes of cultivating American/Eastern oysters, European oysters, surf/hen clams, northern quahogs/hard clams, soft clams, and bay scallops using bottom and suspended culture techniques.

The municipal officers of the Town of Waldoboro will be holding a Public Hearing regarding the disposition of Dangerous Buildings, as defined in M.R.S.A. Title 17 §2851, on August 16, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building.

The Town of Waldoboro is receiving bids from contractors to furnish materials and install a septic system in the Town of Waldoboro. A portion of the work will be funded by the DEP Small Community Grant Program and the work will be subject to requirements of the DEP.
