Please take notice that Clippership, LLC (the “Applicant”), with principal offices at 217 Commercial Street, Portland, Maine 04112 intends to file a Site Location of Development Act Permit Amendment application and a Natural Resources Protection Act Tier 1 application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the provisions of 38 M.R.S.A. § § 481 through 490 38 M.R.S and § 480-A through 480-BB, respectively, on or about June 21st, 2024 for the construction of a memory care facility. The site is located at Piper Mill Road in the Town of Damariscotta.

As required by Section 6 of the State of Maine Rules Relating to Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund Chapter 230, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) staff prepared a “Justification for Categorical Exclusion” on behalf of Great Salt Bay Sanitary District of Damariscotta, Maine to exempt a proposed project from the formal environmental review requirements.

The Edgecomb Planning Board will hold a site walk at 6 p.m. on June 20, 2024, at 747 River Road. A Site Plan Review application for a residence on the property has been submitted by Gregg and Terri Taylor. The Planning Board will meet at Town Hall following the site walk.

The Wiscasset Selectboard will hold a public hearing Tuesday June 25th, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Wiscasset Community Center Senior Center room located at 242 Gardiner Road.
