Boothbay Region High School wrestler Antonio Maulolo won the State 220 pound Class C wrestling championships Saturday at Foxcroft Academy. Maulolo wrestles independently with Lincoln Academy.

Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team defeated Camden Hills 52-47 in the Eastern Maine Class B quarterfinals.

Will Hadden broke the Lincoln Academy 100 butterfly record in a time of 57.23, and Julia West broke the Wiscasset High School record in the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.21 in their home pool on Jan. 29 in a meet with Brunswick. Brunswick won both the boys’ and girls’ meets.

Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team sank the Windjammers of Camden 52-47 in an East Class B quarter-final match at the Bangor Auditorium Saturday afternoon.

Boothbay girls’ basketball team defeated St. Dom’s 43-37 Feb. 19 in a West Class C quarterfinal match-up at the Augusta Civic Center.

Team Mobius competed in the 2013 Special Olympic Winter Games at Sugarloaf on Jan. 29. Nine athletes competed in cross country skiing, downhill skiing and snowshoeing.

Medomak Valley senior John Murray has been named the KVAC Boys’ Basketball Player of the Year.
