The Waldoboro Planning and Development Office released a new list of 100 Things to Do in Waldoboro.
Available on the town’s website at www.waldoboromaine.org, the list contains sight seeing opportunities, activities, and recommendations of local businesses.
Some of the highlights include:
1. Visit the Old German Church constructed in 1772
9. Get a tour of the Village Farm Alpacas and shop at their store
20. Visit one of many family farms and enjoy some fresh fruits, vegetables or meats
34. Find an interesting local product at the Medomak River Community Market
39. Take-in the breathtaking views of the Medomak River from Mill and Main Streets
65. Pick blueberries at Quarry Hill
72. Fish in the Medomak River
83. Stay a night in the cabin at the Pemaquid Watershed Association Land
94. Visit Flintlock Forge and view the hand-forged ironware
100. Download one of the available 2,000 eBooks from the Waldoboro Public Library

Next, Planning and Development Director Bill Najpauer said he plans to compile a list of 200 things to do in Waldoboro.
